I would like to become a pharmacist when I am older. My question is, is it better to go to a six year school (like University of the Sciences in Philadelphia)? or a University for four years (like Temple) and then apply for pharmacy school? If I do go to University of Sciences in Philadelphia, will I have to attend another school after that? Also can someone give me a list of colleges with great pre-pharmacy programs?

If I have written any incorrect information, please feel free to correct me!
Thanks!

It is generally easier to get into 6 year schools than the transfer schools. If it is a 0+6 pharmacy school, you won't have to transfer. For the 2+4 schools, many students already have a bachelors degree. There is no such thing as a formal pre-pharmacy program. Many schools have lists of classes which you should take.

Go to whatever school you want to at first. Once you get into your major specific classes, transfer to a good Pharmacy school like Univ. of Kansas and others. Good luck!
