When you really know that you have given it your all and tried everything to make it work. Walking away from a marriage is never an easy thing to do. It hurts no matter who is at fault for the breakup. Have you both really sat down and listened to each other, really listening? Did you try marriage counseling? Do you even know what it is thats making you ask this question? Have you fallen out of love? There comes a time when you just give up because you feel that its just not worth fighting for anymore. Deep down you know if you want out of your marriage, nobody else can really answer that for you. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

Only you can answer that question. When you marry, it is a commitment to the person that you marry, and also a commitment to God. Once you have done everything that you feel that you possibly can to save your marriage, then you have to think really hard about what is best for you...AND your spouse (and, kids, if you have any). I left after 8 years, with 2 kids, and it was the hardest decision I ever made. I knew though, that it was the best thing I could do for my family. Every situation is different though, and after having gone through this, my best advice would be to make sure that you are certain about your decision. You know the answer though in your heart.

When you feel like you have to compromise who you are to make someone else happy when they won't do the same.
When all you do is fight and you literally cannot stand to be is the same room as the person.
When you feel like you want to strangle that person and you can't stand the sight of them for any reason.
I will leave a marriage when i have tried any and everything and know that there is nothing i can do to save it. Well unless he put his hand on me or my kids and that is a different story.

If you're still asking, then stay, it's not time to leave yet. Leave when there are no other options for your and your partners happiness. You'll know and you won't need to ask.
