2001 Ford Taurus ABS light stays on?

My breaks operate very rough when initially driving the vehicle, then after a few minutes the ABS Light comes on and stays on, resulting in smooth break operation what can be causing this problem?

Take the car to an auto parts store that will read the codes for you. Most likely you have a bad wheel sensor. The codes should narrow it down for you.

sounds like you need new breaks, get them done sooner than later or it will cost lots more, also check your power break fluid
