sexually maturity!

rabbits dig naturally and mine did this when he reached this sort of age.

5 out of my 8 rabbits have dug on my knee, but dont bite..

they are lovely rabbits and havent ever bitten me.

when mine have dug on my lap i have said nooo and picked them up..when i return them to my knee they dont dig anymore, and if they do it again..pick up again and try again.

o btw nuetering your rabbits usually stops them wanting to dig..worked with mine!

loads ov luck

Sounds like she's just started to hit the "wild teenage bunny stage"; this occurs around 4-6 months. There's not much you can do besides limiting her outside cage time, and making sure she knows she can't behave the way she is. If you're holding her and she begins kicking, do not let her go; this will reward her for kicking. Instead, hold onto her until she stops, being sure she's not hurting herself, and then let her go and reward her with a piece of fruit when she calms down. I suggest using an old towel to wrap her up in a hold her for a while to be sure she doesn't accidentally hurt you. If you get her spayed, the problems should stop, but otherwise, there's not much to do except wait it out.

Whatever you do, be sure that you NEVER hit/smack/negatively touch a rabbit EVER. This will not only cause the rabbit physical pain; it will not teach the rabbit anything except that humans are scary monsters.

Best of luck; teenage bunnies are absolutely horrendous, but they get better eventually. =]

Is there any way she could be pregnant or injured? Maybe she's not feeling well. Have you changed anything in her diet or litter? You sound like a great rabbit owner to be concerned and ignoring her is a good idea until you can figure out what might be causing her to be edgy. Maybe she's in heat. Swing by your local vet or call him and see what he says. Good luck!
