My husband and i have never had a honeymoon and we have been married for almost 4 years. My husband has been deployed and is not ordered to return until next June. By the time that month rolls around we will have been apart for a whole year. When he comes home i want to do something, just the two of us. Unexpensive but fun and romantic for the both of us. Whats close to you? You live near a beach or the mountains? You could rent a cabin, or get a hotel at the beach? Make sure you save up enough money to do some fun things...start saving now so when the time comes around you can do the things you want......good luck

My wife and I have been in this position. It's great to plan something, in fact you should start plainnig for somethingl ike that right now with him, give you and him something to look forward to!
take a nice vacation to an island, to one of those adult only resorts Secrets, Sandals. They are great places to go, you get treated well, the food is great, and the sand there has a nice blue ocean attached to it!
My wife and I took our honemoon to Secrets in Dominican Republic. I'd love to get back there again. Talk to the right travel agent and you can get some good deals. I'll suggest www.applevacations.com

A lot of times you can get cheap airline tickets to domestic locations. If you book a hotel now you might get some great prices.

weekend at a nice hotel or do like a weekend wine tour. Also see where Jet Blue flies near you, you can get cheap flights and do something new. My hubby and I went to NYC and it cost us like 50 bucks each way

I never went on a honeymoon, waited 30 years, I'm divorcing the jerk and going on a vacation with my dog!!!!!
