Have you ever used a bathroom for the opposite sex because yours was occupied and you really had to go?

No, but I have on accident. This happened over 15 years ago, went to a particular restaurant on a Friday night for dinner and the males restroom was the very first door in the little hallway they had between the male and females restrooms. On Sunday went to the same restaurant chain but a different location and I had to go do a number two, a bm, so without paying attention I went into the very first restroom door. Went and sat down on a toilet was minding my own business and the door of the restroom had opened and I heard female voices. I thought "no big deal...They were walking down to the females bathroom as some one came in and that is why I heard them" But then I heard female voices in the restroom. At that time is when I freaked out and thought I am in the wrong restroom. There were only two toilets in there I occupied one of them and a lady occupied the other. There was one lady waiting to use the toilet. I believe she began to wonder what was going on because I noticed she started to bend down to look under the door to see who was using the toilet. I had a decision to make:

1. Was I going to sit in there and wait until they left so I could escape

2. Was I going to get up and head right out the restroom door.

Well after waiting for a few minutes and noticing the lady in the other stall wasn't hurrying up and I thought to myself that if they came in the restroom together they would leave together. I did what I had to do. I pulled my pants up, flushed the toilet, unlocked the door of the stall, and looked down to the ground, headed to the door giving no eye contact to the lady waiting. Good thing my parents were either in line paying or just had paid the bill and were ready to head out. I headed for the door of the restaurant and left the place.

I learned two lessons that day:

1. read bathroom signs better
2. When in the restroom look and spot the urinal(s) to make sure I am in the right one


Sad thing about this is I only had gas that day

Yes, and some of the ladies will be pissed off at me but the men bathroom was a lot cleaner. I mean there wasn't pampers or sanitary napkins all over the place.

It's intimidating to enter a men's bathroom.

With those urinals not enclosed, you might well interfere in a man's privacy...

It hasn't happened often but on a few occasions.

a time or two. Driving truck there were uni-sex bathrooms and by the time you get there you really don't care about who's doing what where.
