Only a numpty would fall for the tabloid lies. If you believe all you read in certain Tory rags, asylum seekers are routinely being given huge mansions, rent free, furnished, with a car on the drive. It's just a load of bollocks.

I've always wondered why the BNP are allowed to exist - they incite racial hatred.
Don't know the answer to your question other than it might be to do with 'Freedom of Speech' in the case of tabloids and
freedom to form political parties in the case of the BNP. still think it shouldn't be allowed though.
Having said that - any censorship, no matter how justified, could be the slippery slope perhaps.

Well nobody believes the tabloid press. Nothing they say can be considered defamatory, because it is considered as untrue.

it is a crime only in a Soviet style regime like Britain where civil rights are systematically being removed
Some of the rights we have lost under this Government:
freedom of speech
trial by Jury
the right to partake of a legal activity in a public place (smoking in bars)
demonstrating within sight of Parliament

(i) Yes, technically it is a crime.
(ii) Yes, they probably do. Tabloids get away with murder these days.
(iii) And I agree with 'damian'. He got it 100 % right! Muslims complain about something, we all seem to want to cave in, Joe Caucasian complains about something(ESPECIALLY if it's a member of another race!) and everyone cries "Racist!". Why the **** is this allowed to happen?!

I think as long as people continue to buy them they will continue to do what they do. If they had no money they would not beable to print the stories.
