Coimmunity college classes are a little harder. College level classes are much harder, especially at the Ivy League level.

Don't consider changing your major until you try the classes at a college. As for going into Pharmacy you need to major in Chemistry. Biology really has nothing much to do with Pharmacy. It's all the chemicals used for the drugs that are significant. I know because that's what I was going to go into. :) Also, a majority of my friends are Pharmacists. If they could do it, you can as well. Are you taking AP Chemistry?? That's what you should be taking. Sign up for that. As for college, it's really a lot better than highschool. The teachers go at a slower pace and they really focus on every student. You'll always get help from your professors there. So don't worry too much!! Good luck!

The hardest thing about college is that you take all the responsibility for learning the subject matter. No one stands over your shoulder making you study or pay attention in class. You don't get credit for "class participation" and you don't get small quizzes. Usually, there are only midterms and finals. If you're taking AP biology, you probably will do well in college in a pharmacy course, provided that you do a lot of studying. Don't give up because of one C.

It's not so much harder as a different style of work. I found college work to be based much more on independently reading the texts and coming in to analytically discuss (I was a history major.) College sciences you usually meet once a week for the lab work and two to three times a week for the actual lecture.
Go ahead and go in planning to be a bio major. My school didn't allow anyone to actually declare their major until second semester freshman year and you can always change your major.

doesn't mater what you get in the actual class as long as you can get a 4 on he AP Biology exam; that's what really counts
If you get a 4-5 on it, you can actually get CREDIT for bio and not have to take it there; you can just move up to more advanced classes early
doesn't really matter though you should be ok
as long as you do the work you shouldn't have any problems
yes it's harder than HS but it isn't unreasonable
good luck

They are a lot harder because you only really have two tests the midterm and the final there is so much pressure and you have to remember all the information in that time. In high school you can bomb a test and have another one real quick if you do that in college your may be finished. Just remember the drop dates on your classes if you feel like you wont pass.

It's a lot more work with very little teacher help. In college courses, you're pretty much on your own. AP classes are a good indication, but AP teachers still help you along a lot.

The classes are harder and they vary from one college to another. Yale and Harvard classes are much harder the Austin Peay in Tn.

classes will definitely be harder, that's why its college, but AP is close to a freshmen year class. Don't worry about it though, you will adapt, so just learn (and major in) what you want.\
Check out what majors get what salary though!

Pharmacy is more on Chemistry than Biology. If you got high grades on Chemistry and average grades on Biology, you have nothing to worry about.
