I was watching a forum for the Heritage Foundation that was on C-Span from yesterday, and during the middle, these protestors got on the stage and just started talking about whatever when they weren't invited to speak, they want everyone to respect their time to protest.
So why do they feel they don't have to let anyone else explain their views?
Isn't this hypocritical?
are some of these people mentally ill? The one just started singingout of no were.

I'm sorry if you can defend these people who act act like grown ups and can't say their peace without throwing a temper tantrum I suggest you take a look at your life and see if that's the kind of person that you want to be.

It's more of that lib Code Pink crapola. They think they're the only ones with rights. Even the Democrats have had enough of them.

My friend the fact of the matter is this... many people out their feel that their opinion is the only opinion out their that matters... yet they tell you to be open minded. So to answer your question, yes they are hypocritical... I am a student writer, comedian, filmmaker, and I have to put up with this kind of bullshit everyday from these types of people. For example, this girl in one of my classes wrote this long paper generally about the faults of human nature... one of those faults was that people are not open minded enough about other's opinions (and talked about this for like ten minutes, using thesaurus "looked up" words that not even the professor had even heard of before). Meanwhile my friend comments on the paper to her about how maybe the paper was a little to angrily written.... and she basically called him an asshole, and turned her head and wouldn't listen to what he had to say. Hypocritical...

Because most protesters believe their own thing sooo strongly that they dont care about what anyone else thinks, they are always right [or so they think]
obviously if they didn't believe w/e they talked about so much they probably wouldnt be protesters so thats y theyre all the same,, and yes most of them seem to be mentally ill to believe that prople will listen to most of them!

i think of they're protesting the fee of internet hosting the Olympics in Vancouver against a backdrop of increasing poverty. "they decide directly to coach that Canada has a dismal underside: poverty, homelessness, lacking and murdered women people, undesirable scientific care of aboriginal people, and a militia presence in Afghanistan. by way of 4:30 p.m., the gang will surge in the direction of B.C. place. At a undeniable factor, police will might desire to end them so as that they don’t disturb the celebration interior."

Some protests point out the fact that nobody is really missing anything by not being able to hear the invited speaker(s) - a reason why many of our ongoing problems remain unresolved.

I agree. Protesters are going to have to learn to make their points known in such a way that they are more believable. It makes it quite difficult for us, that have basically the same worries as many protesters, to have people understand our concerns because some vocal, rowdy protesters got our audience angered.

They confuse loudness with being right. It is intolerable to them to have to hear anything that contradicts their viewpoint.
