No, he's tied to the PNAC who are his boss. They are running the country and trying to control the world economy. Its sort of like if Hitler stayed behind the scenes and he had a front man with the intelligence level just above primordial ooze with a good old boy Texas style.

This entire divided nation is becoming more delusional with every passing day. I can barely stand to watch the news any more. I am just hanging around now to see what idiotic thing is going to happen next.

Yes he is. He still believes that, despite his 26% approval rating, the Iraq war is going to assure his place in history as a hero. That's as delusional as a person can get.

Delusional to the point where he may feel actions could make a difference in the world even if it is unpopular to attempt to change the face of fate. Lets see now if the rest of the world sees the potential in Iraq for growth. That is really delusional huh?

No. He refuses to admit defeat so that the right wing media can continue their propaganda. As long as he can keep the dumb@sses believing that this war was all about freedom for the Iraqis and controlling terrorism, he never has to be called on the carpet for the utter disasters his Administration has spawned.

Concerned citizen 26% is this congress, Bush's is 33%. Yes he is delusional. He actually wanted to try bi-partisan politics when he was elected in 2000. He personally asked Kennedy to write the new healthcare bill. Very delusional.
