I agree.
I tend to stay clear of the question if I feel it's from a minor.

It's hard to determine the true age of someone on the web! the best way is to define love as a natural feeling that is to be looked upon as a union between two persons. To remain true to that person and to be decent in all the things you do. As for sex questions, stay clear of that, or the FBI will prosecute you for indecency toward an underage person. They are all eyes and ears on that subject and salivate just at the idea that they caught someone.

If I see a question that is obviously from a teen or even pre-teen, I usually just dont answer. I'm not going to be responsible for their sex education. The questions that get me are all of the ones from Atheists challanging believers. I never knew there were so many atheists running around. I'm glad they're all in one place. Keeps them off the streets.

Not really because I usually advise people to wait, use protection, or to basically just be smart about the situation. Teens need advice about this stuff (cause lets face it teens are going to have sex and experiment with drugs etc no matter what we say)... although I don't think Y!A is the best place to get it, I would at least like to give them some sensible advice...

Nah, I just tell them whatever they want to know. The US has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the western world. Why? Because our kids are clueless about sexuality. The Dutch, on the other hand, have the lowest rate. Why? Because they talk openly about sex with their teens.
If kids want answers, by golly I'm going to give them answers. The fact that they are asking them here, leads me to believe their parents are failing in their sexual education. I'm not about to turn them away as well.

I never notice a persons age when I answer a question but if it is a question about sex I tell who ever asked it that this is not the place to ask or answer questions like that.

I believe that the questions, if asked in a correct manner, can be answered. But I also believe that people must use extremely good taste in answering. There is no reason to be crude and rude to kids. But I also believe that if the help they need exceeds your knowledge by all means recommend they seek help from qualified people or agencies.

I agree with you, I try to avoid those questions from jailbaits too! There are way too many "sex traps" to catch pervs out there trying to take advantage of kids. I have kids of my own that are coming of age, I dont want to end up being caught just cause I was being nice to help answer a questions to a curious kid.

we should try and be patient with the less experienced here . this place is a source of information for them that could make a difference . also it is a resting place for those being harassed in small towns and high school hellholes .

I try to keep answers age appropriate. I read people's profiles first.
