I am taking physics and I am having trouble with the vector section. I am mostly having trouble with sin, cos, and tan. I did not take trigonometry so this might be why I don't know what to do with these terms. How do you find the sin or cos of an angle for example cos of a 25 degree angle and sin of a 25 degree angle. I did it in the calculator using the cos and sin buttons and then putting 25 in parenthesis but it gives me a different answer than the book. Can anyone explain clearly for a beginner?

For physics, most likely you need to set your calculator's mode to 'degrees', and then try again. The radian function is used more often in mathematics than in physics.

Make sure you have the angle specified in degrees or radians as you prefer. pi radians = 180 degrees. Check this by pressing the MODE button on a TI 83+. 25 degrees =
25pi/180 = .436332313 radians.

when you do the math on a calculator you have to set it for degrees or radians. these are to measuring units for angles, as sin, cos and the rest are trigonometric functions with angle input and a number between -1 +1 as output

You lack serious information with reference to the engine overall performance. it is how the gas use pertains to the ability and velocity. in case you're searching for power standards at distinctive velocity you're able to desire to attempt utilising distinctive v, calculate and chart F required and graph the outcomes, you may desire to get a power vs velocity curve with a minimum F factor (area) .. bear in ideas power is stress x velocity selection and time in flight are distinctive on account which you're able to have one velocity for optimum distance and yet another for optimum time in air.
