Why not?
I suppose that we must favor the results in history of having males in charge.
Let me count the wars! Oh! Never mind, there are too many.
I don’t share the girly-boy Party of God fear and loathing of women. I am, therefore, not afraid of The Hillary. We have suffered 7 years under The Dubya and the country, amazingly enough, still exists.
Hillary, Chris Dodd, Joe Biden or Johnny Edwards are every one vastly more qualified to be dog catcher than Dubya. I imagine any of them would do a good job as President as well when you think that Ronny and Daddy Bush didn’t manage to sink the country.
I would give up my boat to see just how historians will treat the disaster that was the Republican foray into mismanaging the national politic. I suppose those 20 years must be the worst example of what passes for US government in our entire history.
I’d give Hillary a chance if the country can overcome its well established prejudice against females.
Barack seems to be getting a bit too much combative and I think Hillary’s refusal to support gay marriage is trying to be both modern, with the Civil Union euphemism and still cling to the Christian obsession with just how others enjoy sex.
I suppose honesty is so poorly rewarded that a candidate would be ill-advised to indulge in too much of it.
The supportable observation appears to be that no matter what people tell themselves and others, facts ain’t really all that popular.
Hillary 1,763 times over any Republican that breathes air. Having said that, the Repubs do have John McCain, their only candidate with a modicum of character but when he made his deal to support Dubya’s useless war Jonny done himself in, as far as I’m concerned.
I understand why he did it since I watched as the party made a concerted effort to TRASH him when he wanted to run in 2000. To see a bunch on non-achievers, military shirking, party hacks not qualified to polish his dress shoes denigrate a proven patriot and national hero like McCain made me want to vomit.
We have seen through our observation of history how mediocrity rises to the top, time and again. The Republican Party must the combined personification of this sad history.

Sure Hillary may seem like she has great plans for this country but right now a women for president wouldn't be this countries best move. I am a women myself, it would be awesome to finally have a women for president. This would just make foreign countries hate use even more(since most foreign countries don't respect women rights). Besides with all the terrorist groups a women wouldn't be the best the thing to help this. We need a strong "alpha leader" that is willing to sacrifice his self for this country.

Hillary is politically savvy and has the social, political, and financial resources to get things done. However, is that what we really want? Another iconic, piece-of-the-political-machine type? Americans have expressed concern over health care. After the 93 health care fiasco, will she give it another go? At the same time, Barack Obama (to be frank, the only other candidate with a chance to get beyond the primaries) has some ideas that are off the beaten path. Intelligent? YES. Well-spoken? YES. I don't know about you but I'm really discouraged by the candidate selections for 08. No one really appeals to me.

I'm going to vote for HIllary to break the glass ceiling on the Presidency in this country. Countries that have had female heads of state include England, India, Israel, hell, even Pakistan, a Muslim nation. It's about time the United States had one too.

What did Hillary accomplish as Senator for the State of New York. I hate it when people say "oh I'm voting for Hillary (or Barac or whomever it may be)" and you say "Why" and they can never give actual reasons or accomplishments. I think thats very sad.

I have to admit: one of the reason's I'm voting for Hillary, is because some people that I don't like will be mighty pissed off if she wins. I also think she's one of the better candidates.
