Buddy, you don't want to be a young actor. Look at them. They're not happy. Sure, they are at first strike of fame. But you just get exposed to way too much and at such a young age. Joaquin Phoenix's brother was a prominent young actor in the 90's and he died of heroin overdose. Remember Macaulay Culkin? Drugs are his life.
And don't say "those are few and few between." They are not. I simply listed a few you might know. All the others have simply vanished off the screen and washed up.
Instead, get into theater if acting is your true desire. Do lots of theater. By the time you become an adult and hopefully have a college degree, you'll be ready to rock the set. But if your headed for disney acting...your not headed for true happiness and satisfaction.

EXACTLY THE SAME POSITION! (except the part of south Africa. I live in Cyprus. And I've been doing this question for at least 5000000 times!)
Well, first of all, you need for sure to be good at acting. Because you are told by all your relatives you are good at acting, then you might not even be even a bit good. Be sure that people tell you that and you really know that.
Now then; an actor needs experience. Very few actors were 'luckily' founded by agents on their 5 and then taken to L.A. Unfortunately, we weren't that lucky. So that means hard word: firstly, get into a drama school or theater at your country. Also, if your school has a drama club, then join it. Surely do not miss any auditions if your school sets for plays that it will present. Even if you do not like the play, get in it. More experience, more chances.
Now as you have the feedback, let's talk about the show biz: the fact that you leave in South Africa is really disturbing for you to become an actor in either U.S.A or U.K. as you are neither in America nor in Europe. So, you will of course have problems with the moving out. For example, you will be introduced to a world that you never knew before. You need to know that the showbiz is not just 'oh i had my audition adn im getting into the movie and in 2 months i'll get a million dollars!'. That's what bog-headed people say (like Paris Hilton). You need to know that firstly, you will 99% be rejected. That's when many actors put it down. If you really believe that you can do it, then you will not stop. If you stop, then it meant that you didn't have enough fate on yourself. Most probably, with all the rejection, you will be called by your family to come back as you get nothing. But don't put it down. You need to have a job to have sure money every month so you will survive.
Anyway, now in the getting into business : firstly, you need to speak really good English. That doesn't mean to know the grammar. That means to have a good accent! F*ck the grammar! You won't be writing in your acting career but talking! What you need is a good accent. When you make sure you have that, then locate agents. Be sure that many of them won't accept you. By the way, to locate agents google it and to learn what to do when you locate them, google it again :p
Anyway. the agent will try and get you to know people so they will have you in mind. Of course you can go to auditions without an agent but that would be a little bit harder as you won't have a person who knows really a lot of stuff on how to prepare you.
Anyway, I hope I helped.
:>
Anyway, bb!

You need to live on the same continent where the auditions are being held. Being a series regular is NOT starting out small. That would be HUGE to most actors. No use in spending any more time thinking about this. Like theaterdoc said it's impossible for you so move on to something else.

Umm, all i can say is, when you go to your auditions for disney, you'll have an edge because you live in south africa, and that's unique. I also want to get into disney, lets face it, what actor or actress doesn't want to?Also you will have to go to your auditions, they won't come to you.
