No understanding of economics fueled by a political rhetoric that treats corporations as an infinite source of wealth.

It's a thing I like to call Myopic Greed. They complain that they aren't paid enough and have no healthcare insurance -- working a minimum wage or near minimum wage job. They were more interested in football or the latest fad in sneekers than in their education. They demand we raise the minimum wage and GIVE them health care. But they fail to understand that the money has to come from somewhere.
They scream about tax cuts for the wealthy and big business, but again, they don't seem to comprehend that taxed, those people/companies are just going to pass if off to the consumer.
As the cost of doing business increases -- raising minimum wage and health care benefits, so does the cost of the goods and services (ie: cost of living). Which wipes out any gains they'd hoped to make.
Why pay union wages for an inferior quality when you can send the work overseas, and pay to have the end product shipped back at less than half the cost? You want it cheap?
Near sightedness and greed.
