I got mine done when i was 13 and 1/2 and i love it. but at the same time you have to resect your mom. and dont thnk this is coming from some mom or mom to be i am 14 but i still know the importance of respect

don't worry, i'm not a mom or a creepy old lady. but i still don't think you should get it pierced.

i'm gonna be brutally honest about this because my friend got hers done. this is a true story. My friend who got her belly button pierced started getting all this really unwanted attention. creepy old guys where coming up to her and commenting on it, saying that if she let a perfect stranger there, why not let a different stranger get even closer... finally she was at a party and a drunk wouldn't let her get away from him. you want to be careful about what kind of image you give other people, especially at your age (i don't want to make you feel young and babied, but just wait for the right time of your life to do something like that)

plus, that can get seriously infected and disgusting. i think you should wait just a bit longer and see if you want to enter the scary world of creeps at an early teenage year

DON'T DO IT! A lot of people think belly button piercing and tattoos are dumb at any age! You are just following the crowd if you do it. You also risk infection. And when you get really old, you will look silly. Picture women old enough to be your grandmother with wrinkly, saggy, stretched out belly buttons that are pierced, not a pretty site!

I think you're too young. Girls are growing up far too fast now days. Wait a few more years and then decide if you still want it. Remember this, just about EVERYONE has their belly button pierced. Be different and don't get it pierced.

You may or may not be. Some people mature faster than others. A true adult would try to work on a compromise with their parents. Maybe if you achieve a certain goal, they will give you their blessing. Like making straight A's, or doing more chores around the house. It would show maturity on your part, and that you could handle something like that.

Um yes ma'am you are.. I know it is cute, but you actually have to be 18 to get it done, i believe 16 with a parent. But do not do it yourself you can take all kinds of risks that way..
