What diety do stupid people worship? No, I don't think of stupidity as a religion. It seems to be a human shortcoming caused by a shallow gene pool. It isn't practiced, because a practice is something done on and for a purpose. It's an inborn flaw that can't be undone, unlike ignorance.

If Stupidity was a Religion .... George Bush would be the POOPIE and congress would be the Big Tent where all the clowns go for training for their work in the Three Ring Circus

It's more of a human flaw than a religion. My favorite quote on stupidity belongs to Harlan Ellison: "The two most common elements in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity."
Word.

haha good one! STARRRR

I think it is more a state of mind than a practice. Practising a religion implies learning and some thinking (even if it is reduced amounts of it). AND IT REQUIRES A BRAIN TO THINK!

The fellow who thinks he knows it all is especially annoying to those of us who do

AMEN....

Good one! But, the funny thing is, no body thinks they belong to that religion!

(The comparison between the R&S answers and P&S answers is intriguing to put it diplomatically.)

I believe "Stupidity" is a denomination of the bigger religion, Sheer-Ignorance.
