It's not dead but it is on life support. There are only a hand full of artist really staying true to what hip hop is.

If artists like Jay-Z, Nas, Missy, Eminem & DMX come back & start making new Albums it might live. The only people keeping Hip-Hop alive now is Kanye, Game & Common.

Yes, I think it has. In the 80's it hip hop was all about beats and life... now when ppl put rap and hip hop in the same category... I get so pissed!

i dont think its dead.. we need Jay, Nas, Dre, Kanye, The Game, Ludacris, and lil wayne.. to be the only ones allowed to make music ... we need one cd from each name mentioned above once a year.. just a cd from them a year!!! that is the only way we can bring hip hop back!!! on the real.. just hink about it!!!
