I have three step grandchildren, and a biological one on the way. I don't really make the distinction, love-wise, betweeen bio and step, and I'd like to recognize all four of them as mine.
Mammaw, Nina, and Memaw are in use already by this family. I don't care for Nanny because it makes me sound like their hired babysitter (or a female goat.) I thought about Mimi, but my fiancé said it made him think of the cosmetically challenged character on the Drew Carrey Show, so that's out of the question. Can you think of others?
