This week it has been suggested that the longest running Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard is to say a farewell to the village after almost 12 years playing his character "Tony Hutchinson".
He is currently the longest serving cast member and starred in the very first episode in 1995. Since then the character of Tony has developed and viewers have seen him with numerous girlfriends and run-ins with the local students.

He's probably going off to join The Bill. Isn't that where all Ex Soap Actors/Actresses end up now. I'll miss him if he does go though. Maybe he just didn't want to end up as the 'Ken Barlow' of Hollyoaks !!

Really,I hadn't heard that,I think his character can be pretty funny maybe he has just felt like he has been in the show for to long and wants to be less known as Tony from Hollyoaks.On a side note,I think Max and OB are pretty long running aswell.
