Install capacitors to reduce humming and a ripple current? Before or after inversion? These are 3,000 watt inverters.

power source filtration is done with combined RLC circuits

to filter the voltage you use the capacitors conected in parallel with the output of your inverters. the capacitors MUST have current limiting resistors in series with them (lets say between the + of your inverter and the + of your capacitor). If it's the case of high voltage, above 100Vcc, it is a common practice to include a discharging resistor conected in parallel with the capacitor

for ripple current filtration, capacitors are not the solution. you need an inductor / coil that will smoothen out the current waveform

The capacitors will be effective only in the DC portion of the circuit.
