I'm married and we have 4 children, sometimes I do wish I lived alone, the joy of peace and quiet! But if I'm honest I think I would soon get bored with the quiet and I would miss the life that buzzes around me in this mad house!

You know ... from the perspective of this Long Term Single Parent (and survivor of a short disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent sociopathic ex) ....
I am FINALLY an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree (and it has been only a year since this happened ...
and I can't emphasize enough how PLEASANT, JOYOUS, and yes, how HAPPY I AM that I have MY Nice, QUIET Home all to MY SELF ... and no demands, no screaming teens, no selfish young adults, nothing but ME in the HOME!
Hey, I can NOW do what I want .. and that is to transition to where I REALLY Wanted to be/retire to ... and I am making that happen at this time!

I did before I moved in with my fiancee about a month ago. It is nice, but after a couple years it tends to get a little boring.

I like being on my own right now and find it hard to be around people and noise at the moment. I would give up all my solitude if I could have my partner back as my life is horrible since he past away.
