If it's written on paper, I suppose so

Fallacy. What about a situation in which you are not involved in at all. You did not exist to the situation in any form; however, you are implicated to the event through a story. Also you cannot disprove the story, because you cannot prove a negative...The danger I see is with the myth of the " truth lies somewhere in the middle" is that if you are accused of something that you where not at all involved with and you cannot prove that you are innocent, then the danger of accepting a lazy ad hominem fallacy is that not only does it circumvent getting to the truth, but leaves guilt on an otherwise innocent person.......There is ONLY one side to a story. Yes, I realize that if a car accident was witnessed by a ring of people there would be a 360 degree perspective of the situation, and there would be a good chance that at least two people could have opposing views based on their perspective. But the truth is that there is ONLY one car accident story and there is definitely not "middle" car accident story.

I would hope so, and its too bad that foreign waring governments don't have an arbitrator to come in and patiently listen to both sides of a story, then determine who is right and who is wrong, and then determine what punishment the wrong party should face for bringing this issue to the immediate attention of the international arbitrator (country)!

All decisions by the arbitrator are final and can not be appealed. Both countries leaders would agree to these Terms and Conditions before the Arbitrator gets involved in the issue.

Thank you,

There are always a thousand sides to every story. Reality can be interpreted in SO many different ways.

Yes and no. If something happens to you and you tell it to somebody as your story and there was no witnesses to it than it is only your side and nobody elses.
If that something was witnessed by somebody than there are two sides to that story cause no two people experience things exactly alike.

Yes. It is all in the way the story is perceived. Even though the answer maybe the same people always see things differently

There are as many sides as there are people who were witness to the event. Each person has their own view, and no 2 people see things the same way.

ALWAYS! Each side has true version of what really happened and why. Truth is often in middle- both sides are telling the truth as they see it,

There are as many sides as there are witnesses and people involved. That's why the outcomes of trials so often depend on the physical evidence.
