By all means, DO let AVG clean it up or delete it. You do not want any virus, trojan, or other malware to stay on your computer any longer than humanly possible.

When the scan is complete you are given a couple of options. If its in a system file you need to "Heal" it, likewise if its in a file of program you use.
If your not sure remove it to the virus vault so that you can later reinstate it and heal it if its any of the above.
If you know for sure its a standalone virus then simply delete it.

Go to where AVG told to it was (after your scan) and press 'send to virus vault'.Job done. Don't worry,it's quite normal,but distressing the first time!.

erm.... it should automatically sort it for you... if not Launch AVG Control Centre. You should find a link in there to sort it if you do have a virus of some sort

there should be an option ? either "incubate" or put in quarantine? look for the options on avg menu.sometimes it just moves it.

u should just be able to right clikc on it and clikc heal, if u r unable to lcikc heal click on send to vault or someting similiar
