Im buy the last couple pounds of live rock to day and after a month of cycling im wondering what fish should i introduce first? I have somewhat of a list of the ones i want and the ones i can house. The blue hippo tang is at the top of my list and im wondering since it is very susceptible to ich should i introduce it first so if it catches it it doesnt spread to the other fish. I also dont have a quarentine tank and dont plan to establish one atm. My list is as follows:

2 true percs
Blue hippo tang
Royal gramma
Three stripe damsel
flame angel/coral beauty or annularis angel (when tank matures)
and others that i might want later on down the road.

I have alot of experience with nano tanks and ive finnaly made the upgrade to bigger and just have a few questions. thanks

In all cases you want to introduce your fish in the order of the smallest and most peaceful to the largest and most aggressive. The sizes refer to the current size of the fish that you're adding, not necessarily the adult size that the fish will be.

The reasoning behind this is that most marine species are territorial. If you introduce the most aggressive first, then it will bully any fish you put in afterward. If you start with small and peaceful, these fish at least have the time to establish territories and learn eacape routes/hiding places. When a more aggressive fish is added, they're more likely to give up "part" of their territory to it, than the other way around.

Although the hippos are susceptible to ich (and just about any other marine disease and parasite), you may have more than just ich to condend with. Anything you add to your tank (including live rock) has the potential to bring something with it you don't want to introduce to your tank (mantis shrimp, cyanobacteria, nuisance algae, Aiptasia), and the price of a 10 gallon quarantine and equipment is a small price to pay compared to the cost of medicating a larger tank with fish and/or inverts or losing all your livestock to an outbreak of Brooklynella. Also, I hope you have a large tank (90+ gallons) to accommodate the hippo tang as an adult.

NOTE: damsels are quite aggressive fish for their size!

I would not put any damsel in my tank unless it is to cycle the tank. They get mean as they get older. I would start with the clowns as they are in the same family as damsels then I would add the Royal gramma next. If your tank is not 6ft long a blue tang is not a good choice although if you still want one I would hope as he got bigger you would upgrade or trade him in. It is great that you are putting thought into what fish to add and the correct order to add them.

Start with the damsels they are cheaper and if the tank is for some reason not ready a 5.00 fish dieing is better the some of the expensive one you have listed!! Good Luck

Try small fish first to see how they get on.
I would get plaqous the ones that suck the side and eat the slime.
they are really funny!!!!!!!
Cherry barbs are also really cool they are pink and purple and cute.
don't put cherry barbs with angel fish or the angel fish will beat up the cherry barbs.
That brings me to another fish type angle fish are great.
beautiful fish really calm you never see them move alot but they are still great.
Clown fish always like to hide but they have lovely coulers.
they are also great fish.
Hope these help!!!!!!!
