Does it match the paint too? Otherwise why bother riding...

Mine are both bright yellow so they can find me after I fly into the trees at 120mph. Whats the sense of riding if you don't look good.

Sort of. My helmet is black and silver and my jacket is a cream and black Ducati jacket. They are neutral colours so I guess they go with everything. As for the paint well when I got them I had a black bike so they did match. Then I bought a yellow and black bike so I guess the blacks match. I don't think that everything has to match exactly though.

I have a variety of gear so My helmet and Jacket sometimes match but I have no gear that matches my bike.

My helmet matches the silver on my bike perfectly, but until Tuesday of next week my jacket does not match either. My jacket is the black honda jacket with woody woodpecker on it. Lame I know, But I gotta make those bike payments on time.

My jacket was a screaming deal, black and green...leather, color didn't matter. Then I saw this outrageous helmet that looks like an alien's head...also green but I would have bought it no matter the color. My two bikes are red.

Nope, but the helmet matches the paint.
The jacket sort of matches the bike, by dint of being beat up and ratty, but the colors don't match.

They're the same color (white) but aren't part of a matched set. I added reflective stickers to my helmet which match my bike (blue).
I know your question is tongue-in-cheek, but I'm a girl and I like things to be pretty.
So there.
And besides, at least my bike isn't PINK.

I wouldn't want to be confused with anyone who gives a crap.
My socks match each other. I can't stand unmated socks.
Just something weird about it. Makes me very uncomfortable.
