I live in Bluefield, WV. I just bought an antique 1974 Yamaha 750. I would like to find a used exhaust and a seat. I have brand new mufflers for it and I can actually have the pipe bent for it but I would like to have a factory flange and the pipe itself even if its rusted up, that way I can have a shape to go by. The seat doesn't have to have the upholstery or even the padding. I would just like to have the seat pan to go by because I'm going to redo the seat anyway. But the better the shape the seat is in the easier it will be on me. I also might take an oil tank and cover. The ones I have have some small rust holes. They can be welded but if I can find some cheap I may just buy them. If anyone knows where I can find some parts or even a whole bike for cheap I would appreciate it.

probably your best bet and cheapest route is to search ebay.

there are bike places online to buy new parts, but very expensive if they even have the specific parts you need in stock.

also, there are several motorcycle salvage yards on the east coast, around Boston if memory serves me that even do shipping... I will do a little surfing to see if I can locate one or a couple I have used in the past for used parts... then edit my response.

EDIT: try searching here: http://www.usedpartscentral.com/search_west_virginia.htm

Try mcsalvage.com. They ship UPS.
He had what I needed for my '74 Honda way back when.
Anything I needed he had, or found for me.
He's a small operator with a 3 story building full of old motorcycle parts.

If you find where they have one, buy the entire bike, even if it doesn't run.

Spare parts are very hard to find for such old motorcycles, you will likely need more (hard to find) parts, over the long run.

This bikes have relatively low demand, so most junkyards would sell it completely for pocket change.
