It's called Sing and it was originally sung in the 1970s by The Carpenters...Here are the full lyrics:
Sing, sing a song
Sing out loud
Sing out strong
Sing of good things not bad
Sing of happy not sad.
Sing, sing a song
Make it simple to last
Your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not
Good enough for anyone
Else to hear
Just sing, sing a song.
Sing, sing a song
Let the world sing along
Sing of love there could be
Sing for you and for me.
Sing, sing a song
Make it simple to last
Your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not
Good enough for anyone
Else to hear
Just sing, sing a song.

RE:
What song has lyrics something like "Sing, Sing A Song...Sing Out Loud...Sing Out Strong"?
This song was sung by a female artist and probably even on Sesame street.

Joe Raposo of Sesame Street fame wrote it. It's called "Sing." The Carpenters recorded it too.

Any song that seems to cross genres and generations were almost everyone knows the lyrics but may not know the artist. I just saw a live performance of Breakdown by Tom Petty and I don't think he sang more than the first verse, the crowd took it away. He even said somthing about them "putting him out of a job" cause the whole crowd didn't miss a beat.
