I talked with my auto tech teacher and he said to there should be 2 screws at the bottom to take out and there were, so i took them out. Then he gave ma a little wedge to pop of the cover but it won't come off.

the lower dash cover has to come off before you can access the two bolts for the audio unit. There are 5 screws and one bolt that hold the lower center dash panel in.

I can't attach a picture to a Yahoo answer to show you where the screws are that you need to remove. If you click on the icon next to my name and send me an email with your email address I can send you a scan of the picture from the serivce manual on what you have to do to remove the audio unit.

hope that helps

Take it to a pro. I have seen so many people screw up their car by trying to do something they shouldn't attempt. Everything from fried wiring to broken pieces of the dashboard or console. It isn't that expensive to have it done right.
