I am looking for a web service that will allow me to add a "Prayer List" book to my site. It is the same idea as a Guest book that you see on line. I want to let users submit a prayer request to the site and it will automatically be posted to the website so others across the web can read it and pray for others.I think all I would need is a textbox for users to enter their name and a multi-line text box to enter a prayer request. I want to be able to have a Banner of "Prayer Book at the top instead of the "guest book" you see everywhere. Does anyone know of a free site that I can modify the guest book to read Prayer Book or Prayer List or be able to put my own banner on top.

I would think that the program that you used to create the site would have the ability to create a guest book, and quite honestly, a guest book layout is exactly what you are looking for.
FrontPage for example, has a guestbook template.

myspace has this type setup. its in the friends area. Although you can't rename it, you can put your intentions on the page. Please do at least a little bit of your own work before crying wolf. There are a million ways to learn but nothing compares to actually putting some sweat equity into it!

I don't know of any specific scripts off hand...but you could probably do this using PHP...OR go a bit further, and add a little php open source messageboard....then people can send their prayers and even have discussions!
