How can I email someone and then have them get it on their phone?

I have AOL downloaded on my PC. I want to know if I can email my friend and then have them get the email on their phone. Remember, I want to know how to do it on AOL, not Yahoo.

Check the web site for their carrier (Verizon, Nextel, etc) They will have the information there. Normally you use an e-mail address that has their phone number followed by their carrier (such as [e-mail]). They will receive it as a text message on their phone.

But the exact format is a little different for each carrier. So check their web site.

This works the same from AOL or Yahoo e-mail.

Have your friend send you an eMail from that phone and add to your contact list. You should be able to decode the proper addy if it's not already in the from area!!!!!!

they would need to set up there mobile phone to receive emails from there email address such as pop and smtp settings from there isp

all you would need to do is email them as normal
they would then need to check for new mail using there phone once set up with the correct settings

it should be the same thing as yahoo, if not try to get the person to e mail you from his phone. or tell him/her to maybe check with their phone company/ provider and see if their phone comes with return, e mail. my first phone didn't but my new one does. so it might be the company
