Yes, I like it. And hear it occasionally. It's been a fairly popular
name in our area for the last 20 plus years. Buffalo Bill would
be so proud LOL. Just teasing! Seriously, I think that is a
cool name and no kids in school could make fun of his name
either. That's what I had to think about when choosing my
childrens names. I remembered when I was little in school
how cruel some kids would be to those who had different
names that hadn't been widely used.
Do you know another name also used out west that's been
popular for a boy? Dusty. Now you'd think that would be a
nickname. But it's been a popular first name for also many
years. I used to have a neighbor who named her kids after
the weather. She had " Windy", "Stormy", and I forget the
youngest daughters name. She had all her animals with
peoples' names, which was different, at the time. Some
people can think of unusual names alright.

It's okay, but cuter as a middle name.
Ethan Cody - Aiden Cody - Joshua Cody - Matthew Cody. Those are much cuter!

Kathy Lee Gifford ruined it for me. She would say Cody this, Cody that... It's hard for me to imagine a grown man of say 30 yr.old being named Cody. Cody is a little too much of a little boy name and not a real man's name in my opinion.
I would say overall, no I don't like it and I never have.
