Months ago tommy lee used pamela andersons blackberry to send kid rock "disrespectful messages." Kid Rock replied saying "You are only a phone call, and I will see you someday." Fast forward to the vmas... Kid Rock got up to go to the bathroom and when he returned Tommy Lee was sitting in his seat which prompted Kid Rock punch him a few times and the rest is history.

Apparently...Kid Rock says that this was a long time coming.He has said that Tommy disrespected him a while back and it's something that has been brewing.He said it had absolutely nothing to do with Pam.
Kid Rock was on the radio and stated that it was something that Tommy has said to him via text msg.Of course ppl are going to think it was all about Pam(they are both her ex-husbands)but all parties insist that was not the case.

There has been a long-standing animosity between those two due to jealousy issues concerning Pam Anderson.
Tommy Lee had been egging Kid Rock on for almost an hour (allegedly) before the fight started. I do believe that the amount of alchohol they both consumed that night may also play a significant role in their behavior.

Yes Kid sucker punched Tommy while he was sitting at the table. Not really a smart move on his part. I think Tommy did some really low things to mess with Kid's head while he was with Pamela and it's just coming back to haunt him. Personally I think both guys are funny and I would love to party with either one of them. They should get over plastic Pam already!!

Evidentally Tommy Lee was at a party that Pamela was at and he took the phone out of her purse and started messaging Kid Rock telling him that he was a piece of sh#@ and all this other nonsense. That was the last straw.. there has been animosity between them for years..

Kid Rock claims Tommy Lee was sitting in his seat being an idiot. So he slapped and punched him.
Tommy Lee claims he was hanging out and he sees Kid Rock coming toward him, he goes to give him a hug and Kid Rock b*tch slaps him. Before he could he hit back security drags him off.

Well you see.... Tommy Lee wanted Kid Rock to play more classical music at his next concert.
And Kid was like no way ....I'm going with Russian Grunge or nothing. Then Kid said something about Tommy Mom's.....and that was it.
