Do what ya gotta do, but hopefully you have a better plan for the future? You're not gonna want to do it forever, so maybe it'll get you through college or university or trade school? You should really go to school, you owe it to your future self.
Myself, well, I have a pretty nice career now, but there were times when i did things I'm not proud of for money. I never prostituted myself, but I sold drugs, scammed companies, and sold family heirlooms, and worst of all lost a piece of my soul after 7 seasons of treeplanting, lol.
Other things I did when i was poor was to live only in houses that needed repairs, so i fixed in exchange for rent every month. I also used to "borrow" my boss's tools and dumptruck to do roofing sidejobs for cash. I've also busked, and lived in urban forests, and a squat for a while too.
Don't be ashamed of yourself, don't listen to others' judgements, because they obviously don't know what it's like to be desperate. Just be true to yourself and don't use that money for hard drugs or alcohol addiction! Save up for school hun, you can do it.

I know someone who has. She actually really recommends it. While it scares me, and I would not want anyone to find out, so I could not go through with it.

If you need money, get a job or go to college like everybody does.. Only people that have low self esteem and self respect would choose these "fast money" careers. Not to mention that it is illegal and it can get you arrested. You must have very little self respect

I would. It is only small minded, narrowly moral people that judge that profession as "bad".
