I don't know.
I think everyone should leave the girl alone for a while so she can rebuild herself. The media has really screwed up her life. She isn't fat either. How else do you expect someone to look after 2 children? She actually looks better than some post-pregnant woman I've seen. Britney has gone through some very hard times and she needs loyal fans to support her. People need to stop ragging on her. That's the only way she can get over her past and move into the future. Her performance was pretty bad at the VMAs, but again...what else do you expect? She's been taking a break for nearly 2 years. So please, if you don't like her, don't say all these bad things about her. Leave her to her business and you go about yours.

Saying her performance was rusty is the understatement of the year. Even she was unhappy with her performance since she ran off the stage crying about how she looked like a fat pig. A rich celebrity who can afford a top personal trainer and a private chef can get back into shape fairly easily. Heidi Klum, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Madonna, Nelly Furtado and countless others have all had children and gotten back into shape because a big part of their careers rest on their appearance. Britney does not need anyone's sympathy. She made all of her mistakes on her own and refused to take anyones advice or offers of help. MTV advised her to wear an outfit that would cover her up a bit and she refused and decided to go with that bikini. Both Cris Angel and Kevin Paves decided not to work with her because she was being difficult. She was the one who refused Timbaland and Justin Timberlakes offer to do a collaboration. She was also the one who decided to go out and party and be tabloid fodder instead of staying at home with her children and out of the spotlight. You remind me of Chris Crocker right now.

I have never been a Brit fan as I am older and If the girl has some serious issues she needs to deal with and she went on stage much too soon during this time she is having such difficulty trying to get herself together. which is even harder when you are a star. Paris and the others just think they are stars. Nicole Ritchie at least admits her flaws. So just give Brit the time she needs to mend she started young in life has 2 babies a divorce and basically just snapped it happens

Yup, Britney has issues, no doubt. She puts herself out there all the time for the world to see, warts and all, lack of underwear over and over again, etc. etc. If she really wanted to be left alone and not judged it would be wise of her to step out of the paparazzi glare which she seems to crave, almost obsessively. I think she needs the attention, negative or positive - just needs the attention. If she didn't throw herself into the public eye, often in a negative light, on a daily basis maybe the critizism would be less harsh. She asks for it, in my opinion, but it also becoming her downfall. Can't have it both ways. I have lost sympathy. She needs guidance.

Frankly I'm sick of hearing about Britney, Lindsay, Paris, Nicole, Brangelina and all the others.
Our soldiers are dying in Iraq, babies are being abused, people are being murdered and robbed in America every minute and every hour and the media spends more time reporting on the stars and who's doing what than anything of great importance.
I could care less what Britney does, I don't think "stars" should be perfect, but they put themselves out there and do really stupid stuff, they're going to be talked about over and over again.

Well you must admit she does act and her words are strange nowadays and I basically think people are curious about her behavior now I believe this is why they don't leave her alone plus you know it's money for the media and paparazzi this is why they tend to make a big deal out of her

When a performer gets on stage, they are asking for criticism, it's the nature of the profession.
They don't get on stage to just entertain us anymore. I know that's their original intent, but times have changed. Britney should be with the ones who love her most - her two boys.

Britney Spears is an "entertainer." Her job is to entertain the audience. Depending on her performance, the audience will critique her as being "good" or "bad." If she can't stand the criticism of her "bad" performance, then she may as well stop being an "entertainer." She can't have it both ways, so she needs to reevaluate herself and come back stronger.

She needs to stop acting trashy and start acting classy. She did it to get attention, it looked obscene! I don't think, she wants to be left alone, atleast as far as media attention is concerned.
