It's ok but its so common theres three of us and thats just in the year, Its Beth by the way and if i have a daughter its gonna end up with a really uncommon name like pheonyx or cinnamon because i hate having a common name.

Yes I do... but it is a common first name and common last name. I have always thought that if you have a common last name you should give the child an uncommon first name. Likewise if you have an unusual or rare last name you should give a child a common and dignified first name. Just one mans' opinion.

Yes, I consider myself lucky to be named Katherine. My sister has had to bear the brunt of being named Martha all her life. She thinks it's an old lady name, but my mother just loves it for some reason.

I have a persian name, and as a child I hated it because teachers would always mispronounce it and everyone would laugh at me. Now that I'm an adult, I love it because it's unique.
