I'm all for "different" names, but this one is a little out there. I don't think it's tacky, it's just going to be a pain having to spell it out for people all the time and tell them how to pronounce it...but, that's just my opinion.

I like Rayauni, it's not that unusual by todays standards. It has a nice sound to it. Plus, when it is shortened (which people will inevitably do), Ray is nice for a girl.

I am not overkeen on Diane though. It sounds a bit to plain with Rayauni.

It is hard to say what will go as a middle name without knowing the surname, but what about Rayauni Lee..or even Rayauni Diana...

Whatever you choose, it will be perfect for your daughter. The name will just suit her. Good luck! :)

How about spelling just like it is pronounced Rayonee? I personally think that is a better spelling, but I love the name:)

I didn't know how to pronounce it until you spelled it out. The name is cute but the spelling needs to change some how to make it more obvious how to pronounce it. Rayoni or Rayonnie maybe.

i'm going to be totally honest.....it's not a personal favorite of mine. Personally, I think that you should pick a more traditional first name. The middle name [Diane] is cute. I just know a lot of people with interesting names that get teased a lot spelling and pronounciation and just have a "weird" name. I think you could still go with some more traditional and still have it be a name that not very name people have! hope you're not offended cuz i didn't mean to offend you in any way....just my opinion!

Personally, I think you need to think of what the name means, I have never heard this name and I don't know if it has a meaning or origin or anything, but I do think if you want to go with that name, Spell it how it sounds...Rayonee.

I think its a pretty and unique name. I would spell it the way you have it- Rayauni. It looks nice and if read correctly should be pronounced right.
