The cups are all gone for the coffee, and somebody just dug a cup out of the trash can saying he would was it out and reuse it. Gross, huh?

Sorry, wash it out. He washed it out and reused it.
No, I don't think he knew whose cup it previously was.

I couldn't offer him a cup because I don't have one. Also, he is part of the "Surveyor's Reunion" that is taking place at the place where I work.

Is this the same guy who gets a stale donut from the box that was thrown away yesterday??

I'll probably get my head bit off for generalizing, but...men don't seem to be as afraid of germs as women are. I've seen men do a lot of things that most women would find disgusting, like bait a fishing hook with a worm and then, without washing their hands, eat a sandwich. I could actually make a pretty long list if I needed to.

That is pretty bad.

To give the guy a break, perhaps the cup was lying on the top and he just saw someone throw it away, you know, the 10 second rule thing...

No. You couldn't expect that person to put the coffee in their hands, could you? Who was too cheap to buy enough cups?

No. I've done that, reluctantly. As long as it's thoroughly rinsed out it won't hurt you. It's not like somebody was spitting chewing tobacco into it.

Yes it is. If I were him I would just carry my own personal mug or disposable cups.
