Do you think they are really satanist , or just using it for prop?

i have not seen them without their masks in real life but in pics and stuff. not all of them are satanist, Joey is!! ha ha ha. and the masks mean that they are completely different from all other bands and dont sell out to record dealers thats what the heretic anthem is about. FOR WHOEVER SAID THEY ARE POSERS. YOU ARE WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stone sour is kind of like slipknot and has a few slipknot members. i know corey is the lead singer

Two of the members from Slipknot play in a band called Stonesour and they don't wear masks.

I never have. Not sure if they are satanist, I don't follow their career. I don't see why someone would want to use that as a prop though.

I've seen photos of them before they started the weird mask thing. Back when they won Battle of the Bands in Iowa. They looked totally normal, but it was their thing to start the masks. I can't believe a band from Iowa made it so big. It's just their schtick.

They are not Satanist. If anything, its just a Halloween mask. You want real Satanist....listen to Norwegian Black Metal.

Well, they used it because they were afraid if the fans wouldnt take them seriously or they wouldnt be as famous.
and you have to admit, the music business is all about looks and some talent.No i probably saw them last week and not have known it was them

Yes its called a band called stone sour.......Hello DUH
The band stared off as stone sour. But became slipknot when they add 2 drummers and also because stone sour had low record sell. But they stared tourinr as stone sour again and now they are huge.

It's a statement about society and how people use false personality to hide themselves. I have never seen them without the masks.

Also they have said publicly they mainly use the masks so they are able to have a private life too. Not only for the image.

I haven't. I'm not a very big fan of theirs, but my brother likes them. Some of their music is horrible because of the "non-existent lyrics" (all I hear is the growling), but I did like one of their acoustic songs.
