Sure! I used to have the same problem, and then I realized why: I couldn't apply anything too dark on my lower lashes or it just ended up accentuating my dark circles and made me look like a raccoon wannabe. So here's what I do now:
I apply one coat of mascara (you may use brown or clear if your hair is light- it will give you a more natural look, like wet eyelashes) on my top lashes only, or I opt for eyeliner. I never pair the two together as it looks too fake. Eyeliner (if applied as close to the lashline as possible in a brown or charcoal color- something that matches your eyelashes- on the outer 1/3 of the eye) will give the illusion of denser fuller lashes, while looking completely natural.
Be sure to leave your lower eyelashes alone- if you feel too bare, line very lightly with a brown eyeliner. And there you go! A nice clean look- hope this helps :)

My friend had the same problem as when she wears black mascara she looked quite gothic but now wears brown, blue or clear mascara. Cos of ur light skin tone I would go with a brown or clear to bring out your eyes, hope this helps

I suggest that you use a mascara that doesn't thicken your lashes, but gives them some length. I suggest Maybelline products, especially Define-A-Lash. It's in a bright green tube with a clear section at the top.
Make sure you get a brown color, it will look more natural and look great with your skin tone!

Maybe try a brown mascara or put less on or just use a soft brown eyeliner to give a more gentle look because the contrast may look to much.

Sure! Try a brown mascara instead. If that is still too much, opt for a clear one with brown liner.

You should try a brown or clear mascara, those shouldn't make you look to "goth". And they look just as good too.
Good Luck :)

don't use eyeliner and use a browny mascara. then put on a shimmery (either copper or gold) on your lids; this will make your eyes look softer (use in moderation!!!)
