I'm a smart mouth, attitude adjusting Scorpio. Yes I believe in Astrology. I believe astrology is your id and life experience builds the ego and super ego. For example I don't like Pisces or Cancers even though astrology says I should. Maybe it's because my mother is a Aquarius, my pops a Leo, My brothers and best friends are Sagittarius, Libra, Aquarius, Aries and Gemini. I'm actually a Water sign that matches up better with air and fire signs. My girl is a Leo and my ex wife is a Gemini.
Whats funny is some silly people actually said they don't believe in astrology but told you there sign. Only one woman had enough sense to say she doesn't believe in astrology and didn't give a sign. If you don't believe you don't have a sign.

I'm also a Virgo. But I do believe in it, having studied it for some time now, because it goes WAY deeper than just 12 sun signs, but multiple others have already gone into detail about this, so I won't.
However, I also believe that I could be wrong, just as any Christian, Mormon, Satanist, Atheist, Scientologist or any other "ist" could be wrong.
But I have witnessed too many people stay true to their combination of signs to believe that it's nothing more than a far-fetched fairytale full of coincidences.
If you'd like to study it more and make your own fact-based decision as to whether you believe it is truth or not I recommend "Everything You'll Ever Need to Know About Astrology" by Martine Woolfolk. While its not all you'll ever need to know about astrology it's a great place to start.

Yes, I believe in astrology.
My Sun sign is Libra, with Saggitarius as the ascending sign.
I never fully believe the horoscopes in the newspapers, as whenever I've checked it out on the odd occasion, most of the stuff that's printed has either already happened to me years ago, or does not apply.
As in previous posts, there are more than twelve types of personalities, bearing in mind the planet has a population of over six billion people.

I believe in true astrology, not the crap you get in magazines. Astrology that uses all the planets and houses is much more accurate than the stuff that only looks at your sun sign. For instance, Tauruses aren't supposed to feel that they have to correct everyone, but other than this, I'm a typical Taurus. This is where sun sign astrology isn't accurate. However, this tendency of mine comes from my Virgo ascendant which then makes sense.

If done properly by someone that knows how to do it correctly it can be very accurate. It has been used for thousands of years. Best bet to start to understand it better is get some easy books to read - like Astrology for Dummies or Everything you need to know books. Great for the beginner or even those that know things! then you can understand alittle more. Most libraries have them.

i'm a gemini with virgo rising.
and yes i believe because i studied actually astrology, not the horoscopes you read in the newspaper. many people don't believe becuase they think that there are only 12 signs so that means there are only 12 personalities which is completely untrue. with rising signs, where your moon is, etc. depends on what personality traits you're more likely to have.

Never believe anyone who tells you they don't believe in Astrology : they're the guys who flock to astrologers , & shove their palms in the face of anyone who claims to be able to read one !
Also , they're the people who know nothing about it , whatsoever . They never stop to think if they are qualified to answer that question ! How can you express an opinion about something which you know nothing of ? ! It never ceases to amaze me .
Like any other Science , it has its limitations , & must be used wisely & to purpose .

I don't really believe in Astrology, but that is because the predictions I have read in magazines are so general. maybe I would change my mind if i had a proper chart drawn up. I'm a Capricorn - but I don't seem to be the sort I'm meant to be!
