If you went to a doctor and had an exam. It's called a rape kit. Then go to the doctor and have them call the police. Or call the police and they can get the information from your doctor. How long has it been? Normally doctors report this sort of thin, atleast I thought so.

First of all, you need to go to the police. When you told your doctor, was it right away? The best thing is to act quickly and get a rape kit done so any DNA left by the rapist can be used in a criminal investigation. If it's been a few days, or longer, there won't be any DNA left for the Dr. to obtain. But, all hope is not lost! If you know your rapist, or can identify him in a lineup, chances are good that your testimony can convict him, corroborated by your doctor's testimony. In any case, I give you kudos for having the bravery to come forward and prosecute your attacker. Rape is so much a mental ravage, as well as physical, that untold numbers ofwomen suffer in silence. You are a stong woman and you will get through this.

well if you still have all the evidence the sperm samples the pictures of all the bruises and the skin under the finger nails and the exrays of the broke bones where she fought him off you got a case...how long ago did this happen and if your wanting to prove rape why wasn't the police called while at the dr. office. i think the dr. should have called the minute he knew it was a rape i think they have to do that its the law.you really didn't give enough details i hope you have more for the police.

Forensically....if the doctor was informed (and had an inkling as to the circumstances under which injury occurred, then hopefully they had the foresight to do a rape kit. Otherwise, valuable evidence is forever lost, and prosecuting a rape case "by word of mouth" alone is not much of a guarantee for justice.

you have a lot of violence in your life
rape and murder
the doctor is obligated to report a rape to police
why didn't you report it to the police? it may be too late if they didn't do a rape kit at the doctor
