ordinary Colin Powell, replaced into set up as a fall guy for the Bush administration. at a similar time as he's not squeaky sparkling (none people are) I beneficial Cheney and Rove had crap on him from 'Nam and used this records to manage him into going till now the U.N. protection council with Stick parent Drawings of meant Iraq cellular chemical factories. He left the Bush administration presently there after and till now the 2004 election (if reminiscence serves me wisely). the final replaced into Suckered and Bullied into that Bushit! elementary and easy. So is he a guy of Integrity? i might say particular. i do no longer think of there's a individual in u.s. who might probability each thing to stand-Up and be a lone voice interior the woods, except that they had/have no longer something to lose. ordinary Powell replaced into in fee of the army when I joined back in 1980 below President Jimmy Carter. I enjoyed him then and that i nonetheless like ordinary Powell at present. particularly some good people have been Suckered by way of Bush-Cheney-Rove. So my very final answer is particular, i think of he will make a good Sec. of State.

I do not believe that an Admiral like Fallon would ever say anything like that about a fellow officer. In fact Admiral Fallon likes what he sees with the surge.

The story you site states that this was said by the Admiral, "according to Pentagon sources familiar with reports of the meeting". What is a source familiar with a report of a meeting, mean? That sound like a report by someone who knows someone who heard something. Not exactly what you would expect a serious journalist to rely on.

In effect I guess I can say I believe both the General and the Admiral when they say they see real positive results in Iraq as a direct result of the surge.

You cats have no evidence that the admiral made these statements. Also, Powell has been a pain in the *** for years so how you consider him a Bush stooge is beyond me. I trust a general before a defeatest left wing democrat anyday.

He could change his name to Larry, Moe, or Curly. He's a willing stooge.
