Books-
I just started reading the "His dark Materials" trilogy by Phillip Pullman, and they are pretty good. I've already finished the first 2 and am on the third. They are:
The Golden Compass (this movie comes out this Xmas, looks good)
The Subtle Knife
The Amber Spyglass
They are interesting and I wasn't disappointed. I also like ANYTHING by Jackie Collins. She's great. Try reading one of her most famous ones- Hollywood Wives.
I also like the Harry Potter's (Love them actually)
And the Eragon novels.
These are the only "fantasy" novels I've read.
One of my favorites is Dean Koontz (mystery/ suspense/ thriller) try reading one of his bests first called "Odd Thomas." Once you read that you will systematically go and seek out all of his books until you've read them all. that's what I did. he has about 38 books and I've read all but a select few that didn't interest me.

Book-1984-George Orwell Classic and thought provoking. A wise man who could see into the future. It has all come to pass pretty much. Double speak..the loss of the english language...abbreviations and the Bush administrations wire tapping...all there.

i don't read many books, but I did enjoy reading "To Catch A Thief" by Richard Taylor. It's a great book :)
