I didn't listen to anything but Classical music when I was in Junior High ... but my 'favorite' was Jimi Hendrix when I was in high school and after ... and I met him and became friends with him (I live in Seattle) BEFORE he became 'world known.' I also liked Bob Dylan, Donovan, and the Mamas and Papas ... and Jefferson Airplane. Can you tell how old I am from that?

back then we used to gather up at aunt nora's and uncle pat's back porch and listen to them play their instruments and papa would sing with them. my parents didn't like television and the old radio never had anything good. but we really had a good time listening to my aunt and uncle got at it and the adults would drink a little and all we kids just like to play touch or wrestle and things like that. plus, we had ice cream and a big dinner those days. so the answer is aunt nora and uncle pat. haven't heard anything since that sounds very good. what i hear now is like from a scary movie.
