Always marry for love!

Firstly, India or any where else in the world human relationships are universal in nature. Any one who has travelled or migrated to other countries knows this truth.
Secondly human relationships are not static. The change with the times. For example the times prior to industrialisation when mostly joint families existed; It was a patriarchal society where the head of the family would be the father commanding total moral and financial authority in the family. Love marriages were almost never heard of.
But gradually as industrialisation set in all over the world children of these families found opportunities in other cities in the country as well as abroad. The parents authority started ebbing. People became more and more independent. Love marriages started happening.
Now with globalisation just watch Arranged marriages Will soon become the thing of the past.
This does necessarily mean that love marriages are better than arranged marriages.
After all, all marriages are relationships between 2 individuals and depends a lot on their compatibility.
Do not let the fact that we did not have so many divorces in India in the olden days as today be attributed to arranged marriages in those days in comparison to the love marriage dominated days now. Women were not financially independent then as now. Many of them lived their lives miserably but had no choice besides the social stigma of divorce. Today things are different as I am sure you know.

What Different in love marriage and arrange marriage all the same our mind thinking like this question. Someone say yes or not you believe him.

marriage is the unity of 2 people wether it be love or arrange people's understanding is important n thus when people r in love they tend to understand each other essentially n in arrange the understanding is after getting united which may cause harm because if people r already united than find the differences than it is impossible to think all over again

most of the times arranged marriage is good as both sides of parents take consideration of traditions and customs in the way that both can adjust themselfes comfortably
in other ways love marriages is some % ok if both r matured and cope up with the family environment happily with out any egos

Record shows that arranged marriages last longer and have low divorce rate.

Remember.
Good things come to people who wait.
You sound very young and if you are under 25, then study hard if in school or college, stay and finish it.
Build a carrier, youth comes but once take full advantage of it. Study hard, play some enjoy friendship, and then at age 25 if still unattached then try the sites like.

love marriage or arranged married. It is a matter of choice of individuals. What has it got to do with India only. Why ask this question with a slant towards India only.

It depends upon indivisual , what he/she thinks will be OK for him/her... Many people prefer arranged marriages, because it respects the consent of family members,, Also it is generally accepted by society... But love marriages are also prevalent these days, but the sucess rate of love marriages is less than arranged ones...

I have two good friends here in the Bay Area that are Indian. Both are married into arranged marriages and both hate it. As a result of their dissatisfaction and no doubt some American influence, both have cheated on their husbands. Both are also still very unhappy, it is sad.
From this limited experience, I think people should marry for love.

India has to change so lets make it love no matter what the ODDS. I love the challenge but respect family and always never harm them though you must somehow make sure you love and then marry.... arranged marriage is also fine but fine for the people who are comfortable with the decision and the family blessings. arranged luv marriage . convince both sets of parents that ur in love and have decided to marry and they should arrange the marriage . this is the best solution
