Just got my EIN number can I get business credit without my personal credit?

I am starting a business and need credit asap can I do this without using my personal credit???Can anyone refer someone legit. Thank you

My personal credit is under repair. I have a legit business just started. In AZ

I don't know how you could have started a business without getting a line of credit or "operations loan" from a bank or similar firm, but here's some info that may help.

In case you weren't aware of it, your "Employer Identification Number" may be used in SOME cases in place of a social security number or other ID's, but all credit card companies, banks, etc, are different, and all have to follow various credit laws, not to mention the so-called "Patriot Act" restrictions.

As for obtaining a line of business credit without your personal credit information, again, it depends on the firm you're doing business with (BTW, not all creditors require an EIN to obtain business credit). Naturally, the better your personal credit history, the easier it will be get a business line of credit.

Unfortunately, you did not indicate where you live, where your business resides, or what your business is, so nobody can help you with a reference (i.e., not all creditors do business in all states, cities, etc, and may not work with certain businesses).

Rest assured that anyone trying to defraud the credit card companies and other companies by using their business to hide their personal credit problems, and vice-versa, is going to be caught, eventually.

If you apply for credit the lender is going to want to know about you. Personally. A brand new employer ID number has no tracks.

You'll never know until you apply. The restrictions/requirements may be stricter, given your past record. Good luck on your small business (the backbone of our economic life).
