i can hook up to WI-FI from my computer, but my friend cant, we are in the same room but she cant connect, probably because she doesnt have friend code. how does she get it!?? she already went downstairs in a poke center and got pal pad!

Odds are she needs to configure her connection first.
1.Make sure you have your networks security key written down somewhere.
2. Start the game you are using. If it offers a "Configure Wi-Fi" option, take it.
3. Select an empty configuration and configure it, the game will sense the active Wi-Fi connection and do most of the configuration itself.
4. If you have a secutiry code, it will ask you for the code.
5. Now your Wi-Fi should be ready to work.
