Ascertaining the prospective foundation(s) of existence (if there are any) is the most important endeavor mankind can engage in. We won't, however, render discoveries in a straightforward way. Revelations will be made on a step-by-step basis as we seek to expand our horizons in science and technology in general. In this sense, very little resources are expended on the journey forth.

I don't know, but maybe are brain/minds are there to question things. If we didn't question? wouldn't things just be so boring. If were all alike, that would be boring as well. It may be a waste of time, but it helps us to create things and helps other with their life not be so boring I guess. Who knows? A spirtual figure, space, time or existence may know why we are here.
