Sounds like your resolution changed. right click a blank space on your desktop and pick PROPERTIES. Then chick the SETTINGS tab. slide the screen resolution bar to the right and watch the numbers. when they change click Apply and check your desktop. slide the slider left and right till you get the resolution you like. Right makes the Picture smaller. Left makes it bigger

Right click on Desktop/ Select Properties/ Appearance Tab/ Effects/ Uncheck 'use large icons' (if checked). If it isn't checked, go 2 the Settings Tab and adjust the resolution slider. Hope this helps.

your resolution settings maybe changed to 800 x 600 pixels.U can change it by righ click in the blank part of your desktop and .Change the tab to settings.then there u can see a bar named screen resolution ..if it is currently in 1024 x 768
then : change the tab to "appearance" ,then got to "advanced" button,then in the list of items choose "icons" then change its size to 32(default size)

go to settings I'm assuming you're using Windows XP

u can right click then hit "dispaly setting" / "display mode"
> then select the high color > tick 1024 by 768
